I took this photo in Alnwick Gardens. I am a semi-professional photographer from the North EastTime
I took this photo mid-afternoon around 2pm. The sky was overcast meaning sepia would suit the photo betterLighting
As the sky was overcast it would not have suited the photo to be in colour. I decided to use sepia tones to ensure that some warmth was still captured.Equipment
I used my Samsung Galaxy S6. I usually use a Canon 1200d or 400d but I find the camera quality of the S6 extremely useful when producing quick images.Inspiration
The Garden is spectacular and this photo can only be captured a few weeks of the year. I waited some time for all the people to pass so that I could capture this moment.Editing
I used basic software to change to sepia. I done this to keep some warmth in the photoIn my camera bag
I usually carry a Canon 1200d & 400d. I also carry a GoPro Hero4Feedback
Always capture a lot of images. You never know when you might need them or what you might have. Photoshop has always done me proud and basic apps on phones can also achieve great results.
