Taking a rest after chasing each other.

Getting this shot was a total surprise. I didnt see the two heads until I looked at this on the camera.

Watching this beautiful leopard was a thrill, but when she turned to look at us her blue eyes were a shock! Georgeous!

Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in Botswanna. The pride was stalking a warthog, and these two were waiting for their invitation to join in the round up.

Time

This was on the morning drive,so around 9am.

Lighting

The light in Africa has a beauty of its own.

Equipment

Canon Rebel T3si. No flash or tripod.

Inspiration

I loved the stacked look and the position between the two tree stumps. You can see the lion in back getting ready to move so I had to move quickly.

Editing

None

In my camera bag

Canon T3si. 18-200 lens, 70-300 lens and a Canon G16 in case I have the 70 on and something exciting happen up close.
