Location
This photo was taken at Edinburgh Zoo of Rica the Jaguar.Time
It was a few years ago now but I'm sure it would have been around 10 -11 am.Lighting
Not in this instance. It was purely down to camera settings and a small amount of post editing.Equipment
Surprisingly it was from an old 9mp bridge camera. Nothing special but it was all that was available at the time.Inspiration
She is a lovely jaguar that seemed to pose for photos and so what do you do? Yes that's right, take photos.Editing
Only a little amount. Adjusted the exposure a touch then gave it a little contrast for the colours and that was it.In my camera bag
Back then it was just that but now i carry a canon 1200d and a 700d with an 18-55mm lens and a 75-300mm lens. Often have a cpl filter on too.Feedback
Keep a fast shutter speed when photographing animals. They're usually unpredictable and move alot. And as i found out recently keep a check on your camera settings as I'd forgotten to adjust my iso when going outdoors and all the photos after that point had to be deleted.
