Behind The Lens

Location

City street in Khon Kaen,North East,Thailand.

Time

Late afternoon About 4 pm.

Lighting

Low sunlight,no flash natural light,spot metering.

Equipment

Sony NEX 5N with 18-55mm lens at 33mm F4 ISO200 1/640sec, no flash.

Inspiration

I was out at a local city lake, taking some street shots..When i came across a group of cosplayers.And asked if i could take some portraits..The low sunlight was good for the shine on the hair.

Editing

Darken the edges and some color balance.

In my camera bag

I like to travel light doing street photography..Sony NEX 5N..18-55mm and a 16mm for landscapes,also minitripod.

Feedback

Try to use spot metering and watch for shadows turn your model..Most of my street portrait i use centre metering,but if you have time with the subject use spot.
