Behind The Lens

Location

This was shot on a Saturday on 1 March 2016. It was at my friend's invite to shoot Ms Pouce Lang from the Philippines. Make up work was done by Ms Anna Salovino.

Time

It was afternoon shoot and in a location studio.

Lighting

It was my first time shooting body painting. I have to learn to adapt to the low lighting conditions. Furthermore, we are not sure of the model's mood. Being a professional, Lang, which we affectionately called, is such a joy to work with. Absolutely not a little reservation about her own body and she put it too total trust of Ms Anna Salovino to keep her modesty in check.

Equipment

i was just shoot with my Sony A7M2 and the 24-240mm lens on. Its versatile and great with shooting in all circumstances and lightning conditions.

Inspiration

Due to Lang's professional experiences, she was able o put forth many great poses and avoided the lights on vital part of her body. I shot many great shots of her and posted on Viewbug collectively.

Editing

Just simple levelling and colour corrections. My Photoshop skills are rather limited.

In my camera bag

These days I mainly uses my Sony A7M2 for almost any good quality shoot and if am travelling or just causal shooting I bring along my Nikon P900 for all purpose shoot.
