I raced down to Philip Island on a Friday afternoon hoping to get there before sunset. Disappointingly, as I arrived the rain was bucketing down. I almost considered a night in when I decided to try for it at the last minute. It was a 20 minute walk from the car and then a scramble down a steep cliff. As I stood there getting alternatively soaking wet then drying in the sun I was able to capture a beautiful sunset that changed from moment to moment as clouds came, released their rain and then went.Lighting
Lighting was changing from moment to moment, so I got a whole series of photos with different cloud patterns and colours.Equipment

I love the feeling of being the only person in a magical place, and allowing the landscape to speak for itself. Plus the reward of braving the weather and getting an amazing shot of out it was an exhilarating feeling.Editing
Just adjusted the exposure slightly. The colours in the sky speak for themselves. In my camera bag
Pentax K50, 18-135mm and 12-22mm lenses. Lee filters for long exposure shots. A waterproof remote timer.Feedback
The feeling you get when you brave the weather/tiredness/busyness pays off!
