Behind The Lens
Location
At the annual Crusin' the Coast on the MS Gulf Coast.Time
Afternoon on a sunny day.Lighting
Just used natural sunlight and creative angles.Equipment
I was using my Nikon D3200 with the basic 18-55mm lens, hand held.Inspiration
I prefer to take a different perspective of the cars at a car show. I try my best to not show people in them and rarely straight on shots. I like creative angles that bring emphasis to the unusual details of cars from the past.Editing
I used Lightroom to crop the overall picture and to control the sun glare on the front end of the car.In my camera bag
I currently own a Nikon D3200, a basic 18-55mm lens and a zoom 55-300mm lens.Feedback
Always look for a different angle to give the subject an artistic twist. Also be patient, people will eventually move out of your frame, this allows less distraction that will pull viewer's eyes away from your subject.
