The Edro III Shipwreck | Peyia | Cyprus
Last week i visited Cyprus the first time! I was able to capture this shipwreck! The Edro III, an 83 meter long, 2,517 ton freighter ran aground in stormy weather in the Sea Caves area of Paphos between Coral Bay and St. George’s Island on 8 December 2011. It is not clear how the ship will be removed from the rocks. The light was fabulous on this evening and the clouds have done their best! I'm very satisfied!

Natural light (Sunset)Equipment
I used my Canon EOS 6D with the Canon EF17-40mm f/4L USM I used my Graduated ND Filter Set and mixed hard and soft.Inspiration
I 've always wanted to shoot a shipwreck and as I drove the coastline in Google Maps along, I have discovered the Edro III! I think it's great how nature and something human created fit together so well. I love the contrasts.Editing
Normally I do not have to edit a lot of my pictures, because I work with my filters. But a bit of clarity and contrast is often sufficient. In my camera bag
Canon EOS 6D, Canon EF17-40mm f/4L USM, Canon EF70-200mm f/4L IS, Canon EF50mm f/1.4, Venus Optics Laowa 12mm, Canon Speedlite 430EXII, NiSi Filters Holder V5 + Polarizer, NiSi GND8 hard (0.9), NiSi GND8 soft (0.9), NiSi GND8 Reverse (0.9), Nano IR ND64 (1.8), Graduated ND Filter Set (HITECH100 Filter Kit in soft and hard), Haida Filter ND 0.9/1.8/3.0, Filterholder, Adaptor Rings, Benro Tripod, remote triggerFeedback
Be there early enough and choose your image. I was surprised how big the wreck was. And wait for the right light. Check your exposure, so that the water as comes into play.
