Location
This photo has been taken in Portugal, south Lisbon. Cabo (cape) Espichel, near Sesimbra and Arrábida, in the district of Setúbal is a beautiful place to visit. The coastal cliffs of the promontory of Cabo Espichel are stunning to walk through and photograph. At this location, you can visit the 15th century Church and Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora do Cabo, and Cape Espichel Lighthouse (Farol do Cabo Espichel | https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabo_Espichel).Time
At the end of the day, you can explore the beautiful sunset there. Red and yellow colors of course and sometimes much people that come with the same idea :-) All year-long visit possible. Be aware of the strong winds on the cliffs.Lighting
The light was wonderful at that moment, and composing with the photographer and his tripod made this image. The clouds were reflecting that light.Equipment
This photo was taken with a ... Iphone 6 ! Didn't have my Nikon D7000 with me, but was able to capture this great image of the photographer.Inspiration
The sunset is something that gets our attention every time, especially if you are in a so beautiful place as Portugal <8been living there for 22 years and desiring to come back soon). The presence of several photographers, and specially the one that got in this photo, is special, as it shows us photographers as in a mirror. I didn't use a tripod, but he did ! And this indicates he was doing long exposure, probably :-)Editing
At the time I took this photo I didn't use to post-process too much (neither now!). I only edited lightly the photo on my iPad with LR. Some contrast in the sky, and curves. The sun weakening and the sunset light colors did the important feeling of this photo. In my camera bag
I have been using my NIKON D7000 for more then 10 years. With an IPHONE 7 now (!) I continue to complement the D7000 photos with it. Thinking maybe "upgrading" to an Z5... I am actually using de D7000 with an Ikelite underwater case to fulfill my project "Mermaid for one day!" and "Family Underwater". All begun with some great underwater photos with an GOPRO 3 that I still own and use (the photo "Deep Blue | Le Grand Bleu" was taken with it, and was/is one my first underwater photos, and is actually one of my favorites :-)Feedback
Well, as always have been said, the best camera is the one you have with you at the moment :-) Beautiful place (Lisbon/Portugal), and spectacular cliffs (Cabo Espichel/Setúbal), along with a great dreaming colors sunset... And your camera... And YOU photographer ! All this helps capturing nice and beautiful photographs. Thank you !
