A typical backstreet in St. Ives, Cornwall, England with its cobbled road running through it. This one winds its way down from the Station to the main street on the harbour front. I have turned the original photo into an HDR copy which makes it look and feel like a painting.
I used Photomatix 4 to create the HDR photo by using x3 of the same shot and added a value of 2 for each shot. ie, -2, 2 and +2. A slight tweak in Photoshop Elements 10 for sharpness and colour.
NIKON D60 DSLR
F-stop f-5.6
Exposure time 1-500 sec
ISO speed 100
Aperture Priority
Focal length 55 mm on a 18 – 55 mm Nikon lens
