I remember this photo was taken at my home. I took this photo about three years ago. I was always been atracted to photography, but in 2011/2012 I started express myself better through image.Time
It was around 3 A.M. I clearly remember how I lost track of time, my head was full of ideas but this photo was an result of experimentation.Lighting
In 2012, I just discover the artificial lighting in photography. I took my desk lamp and I twisted a black cardboard around it with intention to control the direction of light and play with volume of light. I was trying to get some soft light and I covered the cardboard with a pice of transparent fabric. The fabric was nicely coloured and I was impresed by the result of transparent overlays so I arranged to look like a flower, a rose in my vision.Equipment
At that time I had no camera, so I worked with what I had on hand ... camera phone. It helped me especially to practice composition. The fact that I worked with a camera phone made me realize that creating a successful image it is not about technical skills but the importance to develop artistic qualities.Inspiration
It all started when I played with the light so I can say that light was my inspiration.Editing
In this case, directed light and diffused in a dark room was enough. The image had contrast, color, but because of the `camera` there was not enough sharpen edges, so I worked on sharpness. In my camera bag
I own a Nikon D5100; 18-55 VR and 55-200 VR lenses. I have also a Nikon BR-2A 52mm Reversing Adapter Ring for macro, Nikon ML-L3 Wireless Remote Control and Bilora 1221-SE tripod. That’s the equipment I carry around when I’m traveling, but often without accesories.Feedback
Have the courage to experiment with less with what you have available. Be creative, might come out something unexpectedly awesome.
