This photo was taken in my backyard in our first house. Every year, I watched this plum tree as it told me the seasons and I always eagerly awaited it’s beautiful blossoms. I opened my curtains in my bedroom one morning and these beautiful flowers had finally appeared. I ran out with my camera at once!!Time

Spring! I love everything about it and I wanted to capture it’s beauty.Editing
To be honest I didn’t do much to this picture apart from cropping and increasing the saturation slightly so I could bring out those beautiful blossom colours. In my camera bag
I’d love to say that I have all the fancy tools and toys but I don’t. I have the absolute basics and I let my inspiration take me places with my photography. I have my Canon 500D camera and it’s two kit lenses, always spare batteries ready to go, some filters that I hardy use, a shutter remote and a portable flash! I’m always on the look out for things within my budget though!Feedback
I think composition was my biggest mission with this shot. You can take many photos of flowers that don’t do the subject justice. Finding an angle that would be an interesting way to share it’s beauty with the world was what I was looking for.
