This photograph was taken on a pathway that people take every day. It’s in Sheffield.Time
It’s was late night. The fog had started around 1/2 am at night. So I grabbed my parents at the time and asked them to pose for me. The person in this photo is my mum. I was 16 at the time this photo was taken.Lighting
There’s no set up lighting in this. I just used the lamp post.Equipment
This was taken with what I started with, a Nikon 300D with its standard lens. I used a tripod as well.Inspiration
We were assigned to write a horror move for my college media project. This had put me in a horror framed mind. When I saw the fog outside, I just couldn’t stop myself getting some photos.Editing
Not much editing. I didn’t really have anything good to edit with. I was just starting out with photography at that time. So all I did was lighten it up a touch. In my camera bag
At the time that this photo was taken all I had was a Nikon 300D, with its standard lens. A tripod.Feedback
Look around you, the world is a natural canvas. But I guess if you wanted a photo like this, then wait for fog or get a fog machine. Or find a lonely path with just the one lamppost.
