Behind The Lens

Location

In Sheffield

Time

Around 6pm.

Lighting

I used a shutter speed of around 1/6s

Equipment

Nikon D3100 with the lens it comes with and a tripod

Inspiration

I had seen lots of photographs of light trails and I wanted to try it out myself.

Editing

The sky in the photograph did turn out to be a bit orange so I edited that.

In my camera bag

As a student I can't afford much; Nikon DSLR D3100 and D3200 with the lens they come with, a Nikon zoom lens, flash, battery charger and 5 back-up batteries.

Feedback

If you want to take a photograph like this then finding a place where cars go past would be a good place to start (while being safe) and using a slow shutter speed to let in all the light.
