This was taken in my studio in Milford, CT. I love using realistic backdrops and adding foreground in post to achieve a natural look.Time
Studio shot. Was taken in the morning in my studio where there is an abundance of natural light coming inLighting
I used one parabolic umbrella high up to mimic the sun.Equipment
Canon 5D miv 24-70 Profoto B1Inspiration
I want to shoot in the studio so I have control over the light etc but I want it to look like a beautiful outdoor scene.Editing
Yes I had to clone out the umbrella that was lighting on the upper right. I also did my normal skin editing. I added an overlay that was tweaked for color and transparency. I also added a sun flare. In my camera bag
Canon 5D MVI I usually use my 24-70 or 85 in the studio. I use profoto B1’sFeedback
Realistic backdrops require you to match the lighting. This particular backdrop I was mimicking the sun.
