Behind The Lens
Location
This image was taken in Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park.Time
This was taken at sunrise.Lighting
The trick here was catching the sun just as it peaked over the edge of the butte. By doing this, I was able to catch the starburst - it was NOT something added after-the-fact.Equipment
Taken with an Canon EOS R5 and Canon 24-240mm lens.Inspiration
That's easy - who doesn't want to catch a good sunrise image?!?!Editing
Yes. I used Photoshop and Lightroom CC to bring up the light and details in the valley floor. I also used Topaz DeNoise AI.In my camera bag
Canon EOS R5, Canon EOS 5Ds, Canon 24-240mm, Tamron 15-30mm, Tamron 150-600mm - just to list some of my equipment,Feedback
Follow your passion and never give up!! When catching starbursts, wait for the sun to be peaking around or from behind an object. By keeping the lens at f/16, you will almost be guaranteed a "star" in your image!
