I took this image last spring in the wild. It was my second time locating a bald eagle but finally had a close encounter. I worked very hard and spent about 3 hours waiting for it to return to its nest, since I knew it's flight path I was able to prepare for it. Unfortunately I don't have the best camera gear but I always do what I can! I used a manual lens and was only able to take two shots of it taking off. Luckily the first shot was perfect!
