This image was captured by holding the macro lens of my camera about 12 inches away from a bubbled-based and rib-patterned sided Finnish-made 'Iitala' brand clear glass bowl, and pointing the bowl towards the view outside my back door. Each bubble contains a mirrored view of the yard's rear fence, and the bushes and shrubs in the yard. If you look closely, you will see the grey fence reflected in each bubble, howerver, due to the way the scene is refracted in the bubble, the fence, and balance of the scene, is displayed upside down. After the image was captured, it was processed in Photoshop, where the levels were adjusted, the saturation and contrast increased, and then it was slightly sharpened.....with the aim of making the image 'pop'.
