I had a wonderful opportunity to photograph an historic event right here in my home town . . . a huge slab of phosphorescent stone was cut away from the side of the Sterling Hill Mine and will be the centerpiece of an exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Once the lights where turned off, the veins of green minerals glowed long after being illuminated!
