I saw this mother-baby pair of Proboscis monkeys on the Kinabatangan River in Borneo. They were in a line of monkeys preparing to jump from a high branch across to the other riverbank. When it was time for the baby monkey to jump, it obviously got scared and started hugging its mom. You could almost hear it saying, "I'm scared, mommy!" Whereupon the mom held the baby and took the leap, promptly bellyflopping into the river below!
