Lake Huron being hit with a Force 10 Gale, caused by the Arctic Storm that ended up turning Hurricane Sandy into a Super Storm. The Great Lakes during this time were shut down by both the US & Canadian Coast Guards, all commercial ships were ordered off the Lakes. Here on Lake Huron it was a mere 36 degrees out with Sustained Winds of 55-65mph and Gusts up to 80mph, heavy rains, and wave forecasts of 15-30 feet.
