An acclimatization hike to 4000m from the village of Manang (3,519m) offered not only spectacular views of the surrounding Annapurna Massif but of Manang itself. Arriving in late September meant that the harvest has begun and from up high you could see the patchwork of fields being harvested. Running through the top of the photo is the Marshyangdi River.
