I spent a day trip touring the George Eastman (Kodak) Mansion in Rochester, NY and I have to admit the most amazing part was seeing this giant elephant head (can't recall if it was 9ft or 11ft) peeking through the top window as seen. Of course this was a replica of the REAL elephant head that once hung from the exact spot. I thought this was really cool (sad to believe) but definitely unique. With the staircase and the light from the open glass doors behind me peeking through, it created a nice lighting effect framing the room with the cut walls and warm light that entered around me. What was also cool was the design of black birds framing the doorway below were each made completely different so that no bird was alike from any other.
