In January 2018 a big ice storm went through the Mid-West United States called Ice Storm Jupiter. I ventured outside with my flash and gels to capture some creative aspects of the results. In this capture I used a blue gel on my off camera flash to isolate the ice covered branch from the others. I chose a blue gel as it works well with the orange/red hues of the plant.
