I ventured up the Cavehill earlier this week to capture the 'Super Moon' The steep hillside overlooks Belfast City in Northern Ireland. It was getting dark just before 5pm and I took a wrong turn on the way leading to me struggle up muddied steep slopes. I was more concerned about my gear than anything else. Thankfully I made it to the right spot just in time for the heavy clouds to part. After taking a few landscapes I thought I should zoom in a bit as I noticed a rainbow effect happening. The cloud highlights and colours really add impact in this image. The RAW file was processed in Lightroom.
