So begins my adventure to the National park of Teide, the heart of Tenerife's island. Before the night came, i was about to climb up the small mountain called Samara, which is the protruding part of one of many lava in a completely volcanic scenery.
All around a black slippery surface contrasted with the lively green of canary pines which are particulary present in that park area.
The atmosphere was lovely, the air was cleaned and pure, the view was astounding... I was 1800 metres above sea level, behind me i could admire the west coast of the Island wet by the Atlantic Ocean, whereas not far away The Gomera sprung from the waters, another island belonging to the Canary archipelago.
In front of me the majestic volcano Teide was breathtaking 3718 metres high, it seems he touched the sky, indeed it's the second highest of the European volcanoes, third in the world.
An amazing panorama one of the most beautiful! So i decided to start by organizing my equipment and waiting for the right moment to realize the shoot i head in my mind.
My target was to crown the Teide with my favourite subject: the Milky Way.
So I had to realize a panoramic shoot of about 180 grades!
In the meantime Milky Way was stooding slowly visible also to the naked eye.
A route over there on the right which led in the park's heart under the volcano's feet completed the scene. I decided to taking the chance by capturing a transit of a car, i waited almost 3 hours to choose the right one because i needed to illuminate part of the pines through its lights.
I dedicated almost a full night to this shoot but it was a unique esperience!
Hope you like it :)
