My sweet puppy girl's eyes are as deep as pools as she recovers from another visit from "the monster" as many people refer to the seizure episodes which they or their pets battle regularly.
She is haunted about once a month or so and is on multiple medications to keep the monster at bay. She's an incredible little warrior though who bounces back very quickly. Within an hour of a seizure she is back to her peppy self, ready to play with her sister, even instigating their rough and tumble play sessions.
She also is raring to go immediately after a seizure and in fact I will have to hold her up and even hold her back since she immediately tries to prove that she's ready to get up start running when her little body isn't quite ready to be up and running just yet and needs a little bit of time to gather enough energy before she can actually be off and running.
I couldn't admire her spunk and desire to be all better any more than I do. I can absolutely relate as well.
