Mineral King is an amazing place. To get there, you have to go on a mostly one car road 25 miles with ~700 switchbacks up to ~7800' to get to this beautiful valley. I am fortunate to be invited up every summer by one of my best friends to their old miner's cabin that has been in their family for numerous generations.
