Very cool! How did you get that suspended look? (There isn't a hand holding it)

There is a paper curved convex serving as base and back light. The spiral is balanced upon its little circular base (the final of the base is hided behind the body of the spiral). To balance well the height, the first part of the spiral is inclined to the direction of the observed and this is not perceptible. even so, many times the spiral fell during the shot :)
