Bighorn ram pausing briefly as it works its way up a steep hillside. In the third year of our search for Bighorn Sheep we have finally seen our first ram. Only one. And he was on the younger side. But it was no less exciting to see this guy working his way up the mountain. This ram was with a large group of ewes and lambs that had come down the mountain just before sunset to drink from a river. When we found them they had been climbing back up, maneuvering the cliffs with surprising ease. October 2015
