The three mast ship was carrying coal to Portland Maine in 1897 when it wrecked in dense fog. It rests buried on Higgins Beach. Partially exposed this year, some years its totally covered only tips of wood exposd. He ship was made of white oak and obviouslt last many lifetimes.
