My Papa is 83 years old and has Alzheimer's. We had just finished dinner and everyone except him had migrated to the kitchen. I noticed him looking at these pictures and luckily had my camera to capture the moment. He was thrilled and captivated that we had pictures from his childhood on display at our house. While his memory may be slipping, he exhibited a child-like excitement when he recognized himself in the old pictures! It was almost like he was peering into a storefront window during the holidays. Image was taken on 12/22/2013.
