He couldn’t believe it! After the initial shock of the Red-tailed Black Cockatoo flying up from the ground, purposely aiming for him and perhaps getting his ear bitten, out came the iPhone to take a “selfie” and a vid, to send to his wife! :-D … Smile for the birdie! … don’t know who had the biggest grin – the Black or my co-driver! :-D … love my job! ... As best I can tell, the reflection in his glasses includes his out-stretched arm and iPhone, taking a self-portrait and a bit of video to send to his wife :-D ... what makes me grin the most about this image is the self-sastified "I'm so clever!" expression of the bird, and that it appears to be smiling and looking into the iPhone for it's picture/video to be taken :-D

If I didn't know the guy (my co-driver for the charter) and if he didn't know I was taking shots, which he did, then yes it could have made a good entry :-)) So I've chosen something else for that comp - appreciate the suggestion though, Jared :-))
