This beautiful place can be found in Kanchanaburi, Thailand.

To get to this viewpoint we had to climb over rocks and through lots of old building materials! Perhaps another reason for my fondness of prime lenses. You have to walk to find the right composition!

Unfortunately by the time I managed to get to this location and set up my equipment the sun had set. For that lovely soft water look, I used a longer shutter speed! I always set my ISO to either 50 or 100 which helps reduce noise.

I only got this one shot to work with and processed it in Lightroom. As I always shoot landscapes in RAW I could do more with this image. I brought up the shadows and reduced the highlights to bring up more detail. Finally I sharpened, reduced noise and added a little more vibrance. If I were to re-take this shot I would use multiple exposures and perhaps get that sunset in time!
