I hate how I look...always have. When it comes to self portraits, I tend to err on the side of safety by only taking headshots. So, I decided to do a set of photos that would push on my own limits, the same way that I try to approach photography; deliberately stepping outside of my comfort zone - this is symbolic of that. I still wanted to retain who I am, while doing something that is essentially not me.
