I have wanted to capture the Milky Way over this river next to the forest for a while, but cloud cover has always hindered the opportunity. On this occasion the skies stayed clear, and I was pleasantly surprised that despite the time of year, the galactic core of the Milky Way is still peaking above the horizon.
