They were heard at about 10 PM. Quickly grabbed the 500, latched on an external flash, ran out in pajama bottoms hoping for the best! Likely 75 ft. atop a Eucalyptus tree, high beam flashlight in left hand (which also supported length of lens) ... dropped shutter twice!
