I have read about star trails, and did some trial an error the last couple of days - tonight i decided to go try my first real star trail shot. I was amazed by the results and my accurate placement of the object (tree) under the Southern circle :)

I am looking though your album with my 3 year old son on my lap, he asked me what this was and I told him it was a slow exposure of stars to get their trails and a tree that doesn't move. He said "This phototure makes me disappear." He has good taste.
