A bit different from my usual type of photography but something I have wanted to try for a while now. This is the result of photographing the sky from the same place over the course of 4-5 hours.
Polaris (the North star) will stay in roughly the same spot the whole night, however, the stars surrounding it will circle around this point. The movement is imperceptible but when filmed over a lengthy period, the star's paths become apparent. Not only that but the range of colours amongst the stars really shines
