While visiting Machu Picchu in Peru, I went in with the goal of leaving with some quality photos of the surrounding area and not just the ruins themselves. Everyone has seen the cliche photo of Machu Picchu itself and I knew the mountainous landscape surrounding it had the potential of providing a great shot, so I took advantage of our short window of visit and composed the best image I could find.
