My dad was in the military for 14yrs and was an atomic vet. He loved these planes. When I see this I see my dad❤

I was returning from a business trip. I knew all the guys in the airport tower and when I called in for landing instuctions, they said, " Rick, someone is flying in formation with you. " It was five WWII Navy Corsairs and a B-25 camera ship. They had been filming Bah,Bah Black Sheep a popular. TV series at the time. When we all landed the pilots all came over to give me a hard time about flying a civilian aircraft. We had a good time. It was an experience I shall not forget

Rick, thank you for the compliment and the anecdote. I remember Robert Conrad and his misfits. My dad was in the Pacific in 1945 - he never met Boyington, but he did meet George Gay (battle of Midway). Used to hear lots of stories from that era.
