I took this shot out at Hughenden which is about a 4.5 hour drive west from Townsville. I was surprised by the incredible colours out west, half expecting brown and more brown. It had rained a little a few days before and the countryside was turning green. The brown countryside I expected was actually covered in beige and bleached yellow grasses, with soil varying from dark brown (volcanic) to bright red...quite beautiful and magic to photgraph.
