So, my trips recently have been moving further and further from home, but still little day trips. This photo is of Looking Glass Falls on 276 out of Brevard North Carolina. Typically this waterfall is filled with people, but during the early spring you don't have to fight with all the other photographers for tripod space out on the rocks in the place we aren't actually supposed to go in the first place. I wont tell if you wont. During the summer there can be people in the falls basin, out hoping along the rocks, and while some of that activity can lend to interesting and dynamic photos, I would prefer people not risking the slippery terrain for a photo op. So, for now, I am submitting this shot of the falls, hoping I am improving my waterfall photography at least a little.
