This is Shute Harbour, about 3.5 hours drive south from Townsville in North Queensland. The region is call the Whitsundays, magical coastal area of islands, tropical sea and white sandy beaches. Tourism is the major industry here, folk from all over the world come to stay on the islands and enjoy the balmy weather. A few kilometers back down the road is Airlie Beach, with marinas filled with some incredibly luxurious yachts...still looking for my favourite! LOL

Thanks Mick, although I had to climb higher to get this shot as there's so much development happening it's now hard to get a shot without construction in it. Sad in a way, but the almighty dollar will always prevail. xxx
