Sometimes the idea that 'luck favors the prepared' plays out better than you could hope. I don't usually think about props in my photos, and the idea of tripods as props was something I wasn't too sure about. As I was setting this up, I realized the kites were possibly heading into the shot. I think their placement could not have made me much happier.
