Did you hear about the fellow islander that put together all the plastic bottles because he was so sick of looking at them in the water. He made a boat, that floats and he is planning to make other products ... your photo is powerful Bravo

This is heartbreaking. Paying world citizens in all parts of the world could help cleans up some of this. The plastic can and will outlive many people in this area. Hope for good logic and remedy. excellent image capturing the ugly side of commerce and the short term unsustainable effects.

Even a bird won't soil its own nest; you'd think we'd have more intelligence than a bird, no? No, judging from what's washed up on the beach by my house, apparently not. I suppose in some parts of the world, where there aren't regular Friday garbage pick ups, the alternatives might be limited, sadly.
