This was a place that we could see from far away, every day while driving to school. There were whole fields of red, half of the countryside was covered in red, then one day when we were driving to school, we noticed that the numbers started to dwindle.

I went across the river and managed to find some of the remaining fields and so we returned later, cameras in hand and managed to capture some of what we saw, hopefully it won\'t be the last year that they\'re visible and I\'ll be able to capture the fields of red from a distance, as we saw them, next year.
