I have not seen these along the Chattahoochee River before, but I have only been in Georgia for a year. I was driving by, and caught a glimpse of white; thinking they were egrets. Parked the car, grabbed my camera and discovered otherwise. Apparently they are not typical visitors to the area, and they quickly attracted a lot of expensive cameras and equally expensive glass. I had to make do with my 55mm-250mm zoon lens. Still happy to have seen them. (There were two more out of frame)
