I've been meaning to do a sunset shot of Lake Wanaka for a while now. The sun sets behind the mountain on the left of this image meaning we don't get the usual horizon sunset shots here. We do however get lovely pink tones when the clouds are right. I decided to break some rules of photography for this shot... central horizon and a bit of white balance tweaking in camera to make the pink pop. Sometimes it's fun to break the rules and make something pretty :)
