A late October sunrise turns the sky a light pink over the TransAlaska Pipeline. The lovely color is reflected in the ice-choked water of the mighty Tanana River at Big Delta, near Delta Junction, Alaska. The early morning air was cold near the river, but the resulting pictures were worth a little discomfort.
